Over the years, William Witney built a legacy, which continues to this day. Many articles have been written and many stories have been told, all of which are accessible on the web. Links for many of these are provided throughout this site.

As his son, I now feel compelled to tell “the rest of the story” so to speak about my motion picture family. Within this site you will find personal stories about my parents, William Witney and Maxine Doyle, as well as pictures from the Witney archives. Links to other family members in the business are also included.

As time goes by this site will be updated as I post more photos, stories and memorabilia from my family archives, which may be of interest. Just a warning that some of the personal stories may contain some “spicy” language – I’m just telling it like it was.
